Bagasse Covers

Bagasse is the dry fibrous material that remains after crushing sugarcane or sorghum stalks to extract their juice. It is primarily used as a biofuel for the production of heat, energy, and electricity, and in the manufacture of pulp and building material.

For every 10 tonnes of sugarcane crushed, a factory generally produces 3 tonnes of wet bagasse. Moisture levels are important in the storage of bagasse, and we here at Southern Tarpaulins have supplied Bagasse Covers domestically and internationally to companies, working with our clients to supply the correct covers that will maintain consistent levels of moisture whilst also keeping out the harsh elements.

Our Bagasse Covers are made to order and produced in our 1200+sqm factory in Sydney, Australia.
